Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Solicitation number W9133N-04-T-0004 is issued as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. Th is solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 81131. It is the contractor’s responsibility to be familiar with applica ble clauses and provisions. The Air National Guard Readiness Center has a requirement elevator maintenance service agreement at Andrews AFB, MD. Requirements of the Statement of Work are attached. The government will award a contract resulting from this s olicitation to the responsible contractor whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government will award a contract on the basis of initial quotes received without discussion. Therefore, each initial quote should contain the contractor’s best terms for the ability to meet the selection criteria and provide the Government the best possible service. The following factors will be used to (i) Proximity of contractor’s office to Andrews AFB (ii) Abili ty to meet a 4 hour response or 2 hour emergency. Both factors shall be of equal importance. We are requesting quotes from companies desiring to compete for a 1year contract. The following FAR/DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (Class deviation applies). A completed copy of the following must be included with each quote: FAR 52.212-3, DFARS 252.204-7004, 252.212-7000, and 252.7001 (a) and (b) applies. The DPAS rating for this procurement is unrated .
