Description

CLIN 0001: Furnish and install one (1) CNC Controlled 50 horsepower Ultra-High Pressure Abrasive kWaterjet Cutting System by contractor in bldg.- 145. CNC Controlled 50 horsepower Ultra-High Pressure Abrasive Waterjet Cutting System shall meet the following minimum requirements: Booster Pump and Filtration Unit, Intensifier unit, CNC controlled 2 axis, abrasive jet cutting head, abrasive delivery unit, cutting table for 48 inch x 96 inch sheets, and all pertinent training requirements. The abrasiv e waterjet is to be delivered to Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL. Installation shall be completed 180 CALENDAR days after award of contract. This procurement is 100% Set-a-side for small businesses. FOB Destination will apply. The North American Ind ustry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333512, with a size standard of 500 employees. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet https://www.procnet.anad.army.mil (Doing Business with Us). Estimated issue date is 19 MAR 04. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders m ailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejections of your bid.
