- The Government intends to procure the following items under a Firm Fixed Price contract for Audio Visual (AV) Equipment/Information Technology (IT) Equipment Rental and Support for the 43rd Navy Occupational Health and Preventive Medicine Workshop at the Founders Inn, Virginia Beach, Virginia and the Chesapeake Conference Center and Holiday Inn, Chesapeake, Virginia. The Performance Period for the resulting Purchase Order will be from March 18, 2004 through March 26, 2004. The proposed requirement will be awarded under a Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 26 January 2004 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This is a small business set-aside; the size standard is $6.0 million. The applicable NAICS Code is 532490. All responsible sources must submit pricing and past performance data by 4:00 p.m. on the date the offer is due. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. All offerors shall include any charges that will be incurred from the host hotel in their offers (i.e.) sound system, Internet connections, and electrical usage fees. In addition, note that travel and lodging is the responsibility of the offerors and shall not be included in the offer; the Government is not responsible for travel/lodging. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. The prospective awardees must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/ the offerors at anytime prior to award.
