Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma, AZ has a commercial item supply for 18,000 cubic yard of (ABC) gravel. Request for Quotation No. 04SQ340115 will be issued for this requirement. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to furnish, place and stockpile gravel at the designated location in the Yuma Area. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 235710. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set Aside. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued around or on March 12th, 2004. The receipt of quotes will be on or about 4:15pm mountain time on March 26th, 2004. However, all dates in this announcement are subject to change. The solicitation will be issued via www.fedbizopps.gov, but the Government reserves the right to issue the solicitation on paper or CD-ROM if the website becomes inoperable or the Contracting Officer determines it is in the Government's best interest to do so. Offerors should register on the website to be included on the offerors list in order to receive notifications pertaining to the solicitation, or visit the web site after March 12th, 2004 in order to access the solicitation and any subsequent amendments and/or notices. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. Failure to register in the CCR database may make an offeror ineligible for award. The Central Contractor Registration Handbook and information on the registration process can be obtained via CCR website, http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423.
