- Description
- This is a request for information / sources sought announcement to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Air Force Metrology Calibration Detachment is considering a purchase of a Microwave Measurement Receiver (MMR) P/O MMS. This item is a Microwave Measurement Receiver (MMR). The item is part of the Microwave Measurement System (MMS). The MMR will be the major component of the MMS and will be capable of performing measurements for the complete calibration of stand-alone attenuators and synthesized signal generators. The MMR will be capable of making highly accurate absolute and attenuation measurements from 100kHz to 50 GHz and from +20 to - 140 dBm. The Microwave Measurement Receiver will be capable of making depth of modulation, and distortion measurements in the AM, FM, and PM disciplines, across the audio frequency band. The detector shall have various detector methods, RMS, Average Detector, and Peak/2. MMR shall have selectable high-pass filters (50 Hz and 300 Hz) and low-pass filters (3 kHz and 15 kHz).The MMR will have a precise 50 MHz, 1 mW reference oscillator output. The MMR shall have a high stability internal oscillator or the capability of using an external reference See the draft Purchase description located at this site. This draft PD may change substatially before it is actually solicitaed for quotes. The estimated quantity is 79 with an option for an 81 for a total of up to 160 units.
