- Description
- This requirement is for a study, to be completed in one year, examining audience survey data and case studies in a wide variety of markets that examine the factors influencing station manager’s decisions with regard to programming classical music. The study will address the following: What information should be compiled to allow station managers to make better-informed decisions about classical music programming? What opportunities exist for public radio stations to broadcast classical music in a way that serves the public and is financially viable? What changes in the infrastructure of non-commercial radio or policy at the national level might facilitate making classical music available to a larger portion of the American public?
