Description
This is an amendment to the original synopsis/solicitation DTCG85-04-Q-6LR095. The due date for receipt of Request for Quotation is not extended. 1. This amendment hereby changes the requirement cited on the original synopsis/solicitation to read as follows: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and transportation for a four(4)days RHI training to eighteen (18) PACAREA cutters with different period of performance and locations. Specific training dates and locations are available from the Contract Specialist, Valerie Rivera-Chase via e-mail vrivera-chase@d11.uscg.mil or Brenda Hess at bhess@d11.uscg.mil. The Contractor must be a U.S. Coast Guard approved to provide Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) fast rescue boat training and training for each cutter will include the following elements: basic high and low speed operations; in water victim recovery (including multiple victims); open water search pattern, stern and side towing; rescues around fixed hazards (rocks, piers, or debris in open water) by using throwing devices or rescue swimmers, running alongside another vessel underway; helicopter hoist with USCG aircraft (HH65 and HH60); start up and shut down procedures; and engine familiarization and trouble shooting for outboards, diesels, props or jets; sponson and valve repair; principles of rescue swimming; use of rescue equipment. In addition, training will also include classroom only surf operations; as required, launch and recovery from ships; if applicable, specialized vessels (including high speed craft); classroom only operations in swiftwater. 2. All other terms, conditions and instructions for submitting offers as cited on the original synopsis/solicitation will remain unchanged.
