Description

This acquisition is a combined synopsis solicitation. The U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command (CECOM)-Washington intends to award firm-fixed-price, sole-source purchase order W909MY-04-P-0019 to Rotar International, B.V.; Schering 27, 828 1 JW Genemuiden, The Netherlands; for the Night Vision & Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD). This requirement is for a landmine-sifting device compatible with a mine excavator already owned by the government. Interested parties should make their subm issions by March 17, 2004. This requirement will be fulfilled on a sole-source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The period of performance will be approximately thirty (30) days after the date of the award. The purchase order will be granted in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures.
