Description

The 38 Engineering Installation Group/PKL, Contracting Division, has a requirement for non-personal services for operations, maintenance and recurring support services of the Base Telecommunications Systems (BTS) infrastructure at Rome Research Site, Rome, NY. The BTS infrastructure consists of the fiber optic or copper distribution systems on premise at Rome Research Site and three remote sites, and all associated equipment. The proposed contract is for a base period and four option periods totaling approximately 60 months. Foreign participation is permitted only at the subcontractor level. Copies of the solicitation will be provided to foreign firms only in order that they may pursue subcontracting opportunities. All responsible domestic offerors may submit proposals. CBD NOTE 1 applies. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under NAIC code 517110 with size standard of 1,500 employees. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in this solicitation for the described supplies or services. No telephone requests for this RFP will be accepted. The RFP will be paperless and will be released using Electronic Posting System (EPS) via the www (www.eps.gov). The RFP will contain files in MS Word 9.0 and MS Excel 9.0. DO NOT request any documents in writing
