Description
CONTACT Daniel McClendon, 732-532-6241. AN/PVS-4, Night Vision Sight, Spare Parts and AN/TVS-5, Night Vision Sight, Spare Parts. This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply for four spare parts of the AN/PVS-4, Night Vision Sight an d AN/TVS-5, Night Vision Sight. The parts are the following: Eyepiece Assembly 5855-01-046-7273 MIL-PRF-49368 SM-D-850400-1 Optic Cell Assembly 5855-01-045-5495 MIL-PRF-49367 SM-D-850130-1 Optic Cell Assembly 5855-01-039-2850 MIL-PRF-49366 SM-D-850320-1 The government intends to purchase these parts using an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract over a five-year period. The estimated five-year contract quantities are as follows: 2000 ea for 5855-01-046-7273, 1000 ea for 5855-01-045-549 5, and 1500 ea for 5855-01-039-2850. The AN/PVS-4 night vision sight, and AN/TVS-5 night vision sight are portable, battery operated, electro-optical instruments used for observation and aimed fire of weapons at night. They amplify reflected light such a s moonlight, starlight, and skyglow so the viewed scene becomes clearly visible to the operator. The AN/PVS-4 is used on the M14 and m16A1/A2 rifles, M60 machine gun, M67 recoilless rifle, M72A1 rocket launcher, M79, M203 grenade launcher and M249 squad a utomatic weapon. The AN/TVS-5 is used on the M2, M60 and M85 machine guns, M40 recoilless rifle, and M139/20 mm cannon. If a Small Business, please identify as an 8(a), HUBZone, Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, or non-disadvantaged. Past Performance for these or similar items. The contractor shall submit thei r part numbers, NSNs, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided. ????The contractor shall cite the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort.
