- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number F45603-03-T-0035 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-20. This solicitation is full and open competition. The associated Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 3537 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333921. The Small Business Size Standard is 500 Employees. Salient Features: Tow able; Capable of working aircraft having door sill heights of 96 to 211 inches (includes 737-747 type commercial aircraft); Powered drive wheel to be used for final positioning at aircraft; Lighted stairs for use during nighttime operations; Upper platform swivel bumper; Hydraulically operated platform height adjusting; Color White.
