Description

The work of this section consists of furnishing and placing 15,000 - 18,000 tons of numbers 1,3,4,57,67,7,8,9 and 10 stone to specified areas. Materials shall be delivered to various locations within New River Gorge National River, West Virginia. Delivery sites are located in parts of Fayette, Raleigh, Summers and Nicholas counties. Deliveries shall be made between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Deliveries shall be completed by September 15, 2004. HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION ARE NOT AVAILABLE! TELEPHONE CALLS WILL NOT BE HONORED FOR FAX COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION. Prospective bidders desiring to conduct business with the National Park Service are requested to register at the National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 2001-16 requires all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database prior to any award. http://www.ccr.gov.
