Description
Pre-Solicitation Notice HSTS-03-04-R-RES107 Permanent Furniture for TSA Field Locations The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Office of Real Estate Services (RES), Design and Construction Division (DCD) has a requirement for permanent office furniture acquisition and project management for approximately 460 field locations. Prior to issuance of the solicitation, TSA invites all interested contractors to attend an Industry Briefing on March 5, 2004 at 12:30 pm in the training room at the Drug Enforcement Agency, 700 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, VA. Attendance is limited to two (2) individuals from each company. You are invited to hear the Government’s presentation on the acquisition strategy and draft statement of work (SOW). Each contractor must pre-register by contacting the Contract Specialist via e-mail at Robert.Boone@dhs.gov or Robert.Boone@tsa.dot.gov by no later than 3:00pm EST, on the March 4, 2004. An electronic copy of the draft SOW will be provided to each requester upon e-mail registration. The Government will require that contractors provide capability statements after the Industry Brief as described below. The Government hereby reserves the right to issue the solicitation only to those parties selected as most capable through the evaluation of capability statements. Capability Statement submittal instructions- In order to participate in the procurement, contractors must submit a capability statement demonstrating ability for a project of this size and scope. This statement shall not exceed 5 pages. Address overall approach and abilities to provide project management, product manufacturing (if applicable), dealership, design capabilities, installation, standards program, product delivery, web-design reporting, manage leasing and lease-to-own program, and all other requirements in the SOW. Provide successful past performance contact information from similar projects of this magnitude. The Government is interested in the capability of the contractor to provide “turn-key” operations for all tasks in the SOW. Contractors that have best demonstrated their experience and capabilities to meet this requirement will be provided a copy of the Request for Proposal. Capability statements shall be submitted via E-mail to Robert.Boone@DHS.GOV or Robert.Boone@tsa.dot.gov by no later than 3:00 PM EST, March 12, 2004.
