- The 311 HSW/YASK intends to issue solicitation F41624-04-Q-70378 for a TUBE, DRINKING. National Stock Number 4240-01-454-2536MH Part Number 210-20050-01. Relative NAICS code 339113. The purpose of this solicitation will be to award a one-time, fixed price/quantity Purchase Order for 557 ea of the Drinking Tube. Size Dimensions approx two (2) inches long, approx one-quarter inch round. Predominate material rubber. Form, Fit, and Function “used by aircrew to drink water while using Aircrew Eye Respiratory Protection (AERP).” Delivery to Warner-Robins AFB, GA. Required Delivery date is on or before 31 Jul 04. Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Inspection/Quality requirement is Contractor Responsibility for Inspection IAW FAR 52.246-1. Responses should be submitted no later than 29 Mar 04. Please note that telephone requests will not be honored. Only e-mail, written, or faxed requests directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsive sources may submit an offer. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, regarding this acquisition. If the Contracting Officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of the acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendation to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
