- Description
- The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) solicits sources for support services required by GSA Federal Technology Services and its customer agencies. If the results of this market survey indicate there are at least 2 or more potential qualified sources that can support this proposed requirement, the Government will consider release of a competitive requirement. The proposed period of performance for this contract will be for one year with four one year options. Core levels of essential unique engineering capabilities to support GSA in the definition, analysis, acquisition, evolution, and independent and objective evaluation of telecommunications and information technology services and systems in support of GSA?s current FTS2001, FTS Crossover, Networx, Metropolitan Area Acquisition (MAA), and associated contract programs, the successor acquisition environment, the development of overall Government telecommunications services strategic concept, and their interfaces with other GSA and Governmental telecommunications efforts. The nature of the work requires freedom from actual or potential conflict of interest (no direct or indirect association with firms in the telecommunications or information technology industry), knowledge in the field of telecommunications/information technology and in Government/GSA telecommunications and information technology services and systems, no engagement in any business activity which could make the Contractor appear unsuitable for having access to GSA or other government entities plans, standards, methodologies, acquisition information, and vendor proprietary information. This requirement has been limited to those functions that require the services of a non-profit, conflict-free organization that possesses unique telecommunications/information technology capabilities. This contract includes a requirement that the Contractor shall be prohibited from participating in competition as a prime, subcontractor, or consultant for the Government of any items and/or services to be furnished and other contracts based on any work performed under this contract. The term ?Contractor? includes Contractor personnel, subcontractors, and consultants. All Contractor Personnel shall be considered procurement officials and will be subject to the provisions of Section 17 of the Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act (41.U.S.C.423). Interested Contractors are invited to identify their interest and technical capability to respond to the requirement within 15 days following the date of publication of this notice. Brochures alone are not sufficient documentation for demonstration of capabilities, conflict free credentials, and unbiased status. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Send written responses to Mr. Robert A.
