Description

The Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region Contracting Center-East at Fort McPherson, GA intends to procure through full and open competition, for a contractor to provide shuttle bus services from the Atlanta Military Entrance Processing Station (M EPS) located at Fort Gillem Army Installation to Hartsfield International Airport, designated hotels, and local medical offices. Bus Company must be approved by the Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC) and listed on the Military Surface Deployment a nd Distribution Command list of Approved Department of Defense Bus, Van & Limo Carriers. The contractor must also have entered into the Military Bus Agreement with MTMC. Information regarding applying for this certification is on MTMC web site at www.MTM C.army.mil. Contractor shall have the appropriate motor vehicle accident liability insurance as required by applicable state laws. Buses should have a seating capacity of 55 people, equipped with A/C and heating systems in operable conditions, and includ e baggage capacity. The number of applicants shall determine the number and size of the bus that is needed and the schedule coordinator will notify contractor of the number of buses/size of bus needed for that day. This solicitation shall result in a Fir m Fixed Price Contract with a base period of 6 months plus four one-year option periods, is a Total Small Business set aside, and restricted to companies within the state of Georgia. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 485510. The Small Business Size Standard is $6.0 million. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Businesses may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-2 27-2423, or via the Internet at www.ccr.gov. Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on or about March 4, 2004.
