Description

It is the intent of the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, Little Rock, Arkansas to negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Biosense Webster, 3333 Diamond Canyon Road, Diamond Bar, CA 91765, the manufacturer for CARTO Catheters to be used with the VA-owned CARTO XP System. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 339112. A Purchase Order will be issued to procure various catheters for use with this equipment. Interested parties have until March 3, 2004 to submit in writing their qualifications/capabilities to provide the Brand Name/Equal product and submit product information. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after March 3rd or without sufficient information to enable the Government to determine that a firm is qualified and capable to perform contract requirements, will be deemed non-responsive and will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to conduct a competitive procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
