Description

The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspections Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Fruit Fly Rearing Facility, Moore Air Base, Edinburg, TX, intends to procure 40,000 pounds of Torula Yeast (Dried Inactive) Candida Utilis (Henneberg) Lodder and Kreger Van-RIJ, packaged in 50 lb Bags. The 50 lb bags shall be palletized and shrink wrapped to prevent goods from getting wet. Delivery shall be FOB destination: Edinburg, TX, arriving by June 16, 2004. This is a firm fixed price contract. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
