Description

This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Crew, Robotics and Vehicle Equipment (CRAVE) which was posted on 1/30/04. You are notified that the synopsis has been modified to provide additional information to potential offerors.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp1) It is estimated that the minimum contract value will be $15,000 and the maximum contract value will not exceed $48M.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp2) This procurement will be a full and open competition and not a small business set-aside.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe only exception, is as was stated in the previous synopsis, that at least one award will be made to an educational or nonprofit institution under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(3) as contemplated by the provisions of FAR 6.302-3, provided that all other requirements of this synopsis and the solicitation, to follow, are met.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp3) A list of potential offerors is being posted with this notice.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe list can be accessed from the CRAVE acquisition web site listed below.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp http://jsc-web-pub.jsc.nasa.gov/bd01/crave/default.asp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp4)&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspIt is contemplated that a solicitation will be issued in March requesting proposals to be received in April.
