- Description
- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire, on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, administrative support services from Transtecs Corporation.    The services are required in support of Training Air Wing (TRAWING) 5 Whiting Field, FL operations under contract N00140-01-C-0024.    The proposed modification will extend the period of performance under the current contract for a six (6) month period to enable continued performance of required services until a competitive follow-on contract is awarded.    The services required include (but are not limited to):    management of all correspondence including classified material, mail and message processing, office automation, travel orders, personnel security clearance support, publications and reports, directives and forms, master flight schedule and reports, and training support.    The anticipated period of performance of the proposed extension will be 01 April 2004 through 30 September 2004.    Transtecs Corporation, as incumbent under contract N00140-01-C-0024, is considered the only supplier that can provide all services in the required timeframe.    The proposed modification solicitation will be conducted under the provisions for Commercial Items in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.    The solicitation will require the submission of a cost/price proposal.    SEE NOTE 22
