- The purpose of this modification/amendment, is to provide answers to questions received regarding the subject Request for Technical Proposals, Step one of Two Step Sealed Bid. As a result of this modification the response due date is not extended. 1. QUESTION: (Reference previous modification/amendment, answers to Questions): Regarding question number one, your response is that we are to do a Protein A purification of the polyclonal portion of the contract. Goat IgG will bind more readily to Pro tein G which may result in better yields. Is it OK to use a Protein G purification? ANSWER: Yes, Protein G is OK.
