Description

This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by the Information Technology, E-Commerce, and Commercial Contracting Center ((ITEC4) in support of the Defense Travel System (DTS) Program Management Office (PMO) to solicit the travel industry's findings on the preferred pricing method for DOD Commercial Travel Office (CTO) service contracts. Inputs/comments are being requested from the travel industry using hypothetical scenarios to determine the best way of doing business. Currently, DOD travel con tracts are either awarded under a Point of Sales or Management Fee pricing structure. It is requested that a written narrative be submitted detailing the result of a cost analysis conducted on both methods of pricing with consideration given to best comme rcial practices, cost and technical effectiveness, and risk analysis, with pros and cons for both methods.
