- Description
- The Government intends to procure a medium fuselage fixture, model AAL-111-020-002, from Alpine Aerotech Ltd., 1260 Industrial Road, Kelowna, B.C. Canada. The Government intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Alpine Aerotech Ltd. based on the belief that Alpine Aerotech is the sole approved manufacturer for the fixture. Bell Helicopter, the original manufacturer of the UH-1N Aircraft, retains the proprietary rights to data for the design and manufacture of the fixture. Bell Helicoper has granted approval to Alpine Aerotech Ltd. to manufacture the fixture, which is required to accomplish crash-damage repairs for the UH-1N Aircraft. The NAICS is 336413 with a size standard of 1000. See Note 22; responses Nov 10, 2003. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-OCT-2003).
