Description

NSN 5340-01-324-9195, PN 12556972. Proposed instrument is 100 percent Small Business Setaside, 5 Year IDIQ with minimum guaranteed quantity of 3,000 each. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY2004 requirement. Estimated date of solicitat ion issue is 11 March 2004. Item is manufactured from steel composition 8620, grain size 5-8 per ASTM A331 or A332. Heat treated IAW AMS-H-6875. Heavy phosphate coating is required IAW MIL-DTL-16232 and procedure must be approved prior to production. D imensions are in metric. Latch is 6.0 thick x 8.8 wide x approximately 40.0 in length. This item requires extensive machining. This solicitation will be issued electronic ally in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be prov ided.
