Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, RI intends to place a sole-source purchase order with Kollmorgen Corp, Radford, VA for services to refurbish one (1) Brushless D.C. Motor P/N BMHR13301 and to verify performance in accordance with Kollmorgen test procedure TP-21553. Refurbishment will include upgrade of the BDCM pressure compensators to the current production configuration. Kollmorgen is the only source for these services because Kollmorgen does not authorize, equip, or make available the information and hardware necessary to make the required upgrades and repairs to this custom motor. Any challenges to this sole source action should be brought to the attention of the Contracting Officer, Diane Christensen at (401) 832-1445. NAICS: 811310.
