Description

This is a sources sought synopsis . This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). These items are being considered for Option II on contract F41608-00-D-0323. This is a long term requirements type contract with General Electric. The contract consists of sole source items. The items are coded ?4D?, indicating a unique design capability that is only available through the prime vendor or ?4H?, indicating a lack of sufficient data to allow competition. Qualification Requirements are currently not applicable to this requirement. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) manages the items listed below. If a source becomes qualified after the item has been added to the contract, the item(s) will be removed from the contract when the next option is exercised. Source: General Electric Aircraft Engines, Cincinnati, OH (cage: 07482), General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, MA (cage: 99207) and General Electric Support Services, Mt. Laurel, NJ (cage: 03350). No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. Authority: 10 USC 2304 (c)(1), Justification: supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
