Description

S?Laundering of Shop Towels The 914th Airlift Wing, 2720 Kirkbridge Drive,bldg 800, Niagarafalls,IAP-ARS, NY 14304 intends to acquire through a 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation, however, if sufficient competition is not obtained, it will revert to being full and open competition, automatically. The services described below following the procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. It is intended to acquire that the Contractor provide and launder Contractor owned shop towels. The services include pick-up, laundering, and drop-off. The shops under the requirement include the Aircraft Fuel System, Aircraft Propulsion and Pneudraulics shops. It is expected to award a Firm Fixed Price type contract with a base period of (6) six Months and (4) four one-year option periods, which will be exercised at the Government?s discretion. The SIC Code is 7218; the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812332, with a size standard of $12,000,000.00. Registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required (DFARS 252.204-7004) Registration may be made via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/ or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Consistent with the requirements of FAR 5.203 (a) and (h) ? publicizing and response time, this proposed contract action shall be published in the Federal Business Opportunity 15 days before issuance of a solicitation. The solicitation for this requirement will be available on or about 25 February 2004 with closing date approximately 15 days after issuance. Protential offerors shall request for solicitation number RFQ FA6670-04-T-0027, must be submitted in writing via mail, fax (716) 236-2357 or E-mail. No telephone requests will be accepted.
