Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCADLKE), Lakehurst, Spanish Air Force F/A 18 Support Equipment Program intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Heatcon Composite Systems, Seattle, WA. Heatcon Composite Systems will provide the Spanish Air Force F/A 18 Support Equipment Program with the following items: A Composite Repair System/ Controller P/N HCS9200FL (must be NSN 4920-01-462-4675) qty (1), Heat Blanket P/N HC080080E52X, qty (2), Heat Blanket P/N HC180180E52X qty (3), Heat Blanket P/N HC240240E52X qty (2). Currently Heatcon Composite Systems is the only known manufacturer of Flight Line Explosion proof hazardous environment Hot Bonders. The technical data associated with this system is proprietary to Heatcon, to which the Government does not own any data rights. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1 Any interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days of this proposal will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
