Description
An updated version (2nd modification) of a previous Synopsis, posted on 03 February 2004 for RFQ No. N00604-04-T-A292 is incorporated in this Pre-Solicitation Notice Modification as follows: The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Pearl Harbor, HI, intents to acquire moving services for the U.S. Pacific Command (PACOM) to relocate approximately 1340 personnel from various buildings at Camp Smith, to the new Headquarters Building (Building 700), also located at Camp Smith. This requirement will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Request for Quotes No. N00604-04-T-A292 will be issued for this requirement on or about 09 February 2004 (closing on 13 February 2004 at 1630 hours). A site visit will conducted at Camp Smith on 11 February 2004 at 0900 hours. Contractors interested in bidding must attend the 11 February site visit. Contractors planning to attend, please contact Elias Stamatiades at 808-473-7573 or by email at elias.l.stamatiades@navy.mil. Please provide the names of individual(s) to be attending (maximum 2 individuals per company). Contractor shall provide labor, equipment, and materials to move items such as, but not limited to, boxed files and books, manuals, furniture, equipment, safes, appliances, and boxed desk items for approximately 1340 personnel. Personnel are located in various buildings throughout Camp Smith, and will be moving into Building 700. Packing services will also be required for the executive level private offices. Approximately 50 to 100 personnel shall be moved per day. Move shall commence on 20 February 2004, and shall continue on each consecutive day through 6 March 2004. Move shall commence again on 13 March 2004, and shall continue on each consecutive day through 15 March 2004. A move schedule designating the groups to be moved on each day and a general inventory of the items to be moved will be provided at the site visit.
