Description
23 - The United States Special Operations Command, Directorate of Procurement has a potential requirement to purchase approximately 700 militarized commercial off-the shelf (COTS), lightweight, high mobility, personnel/cargo, 4 and 6 wheel All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) with associated manuals, life cycle spare parts and mechanical/operator training over a period of five years. This procurement will be accomplished using full and open competition procedures for Commercial Off-The-Shelf items. An Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type of contract for one year plus four option years is anticipated. It is the Government?s intent to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) H92222-04-R-0018 o/a 13 February 2004 with and closing date o/a 23 February 2004. The RFP will be posted on this FEDBIZOPPS website. All responsible sources solicited may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. Offerors shall be required to ship 2 ATVs: one 4-wheel variant and one 6-wheel variant at their own expense by the closing date to Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 423110 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.
