- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement for test and evaluation and administrative support services for acoustic measurement facilities located in Newport, RI and Okahumpka, FL. Specific efforts will include developmental testing , design and fabrication of special test fixtures, maintenance of acoustic equipment, facility maintenance test conduct preparation and test analyses. Efforts also include updating site specific procedures, reporting hazardous material usage and monitoring satellite accumulation areas for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) program issues. Administrative services include maintaining information for the Acoustic Reference Transducers Loan Program by maintaining loan/status updates, milestone information, action items, etc. A GSA order, issued under Class 871, SIN 871 4 (Test and Evaluation Services) is anticipated and offerors under this schedule, are invited to review solicitation N66604-04-Q-1646, expected to be on the NUWCDIVNPT contracts web page by 2004 Feb 09. Pricing and technical responses will be required. Award will be made on the basis of Best Value. Evaluation factors are Technical capability, Price and Past Performance. Technical capability and past performance, when combined, are significantly more important than price. Specific technical information will include: Experience with acoustic reference measurements and measurement facilities and transducer standards programs. The solicitation will detail the specific evaluation criteria. This acquisition is being issued on an unrestricted basis. Anticipated period of performance is from 31 March 2004 to 30 Sept 2005. Estimated level of effort is 14,900 hours. Prior order was N66604-02-F-5993 awarded to General Physics Corporation. NAICS: 541330/$23.0 Mil.
