****ATTENTION***FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED To, Pamela Myres, Contracting Officer, fax 256-876-5311, AMSAM-AC-LS-C, NSN: 1680-01-121-5199; P/N:145C1413-3, PRON AX4C0284AX, NOUN: SUPPORT ASSEMBLY Quantity: 70 each , applicable BK:CH-47. Production leadtime with First Article (FA) is 306 days after contract award; without FA is 204 days and with alternate II is 255 days with delivery to Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. This item is restricted to The Boeing Company, C age Code 77272, this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and the manufacturinf knowledge by the qualified source(s) r equire acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the r equired item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation however; the solicitat ion will not close prior to the date stated above.
