Description

Infinition Ballistic Radar System model BR-3501 is no longer available and has been replaced by model BR-3502. Quantity required has been changed from one to two. Corrected Presolicitation notice is as follows: Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Infinition Inc, 3630 Jean Talon, Trois Rivieres, QC G8Y 2G7, Canada. This requirement is for two (2) Infinition BR 3502 Ballistic Radar Systems. Infinition Inc is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source that can provide the required radar system that will provide compatibility in form, fit and function, with our existing Infinition Radar Systems and Software currently in use at USAYPG . Interested parties my submit technical literature showing their capability to meet the Government requirement no later than 12:00 P.M. MST on 18 February 2004 to Laura.StJohn@yuma.army.mil. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely fo r the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22, with the exception that the time period for receipt of proposals for consideration is 14 days instead of 45 days.
