Description

This project consists of but is not limited to the maintenance and repair of base pavements. Types of work which can be expected under this contract are asphalt milling and overlays, asphalt roads, sidewalk construction, curbs and gutters, concrete roads, airfield slab replacements, airfield markings, airfield joint sealing and airfields spall repair, as well as other related pavement work. This contract will consist of one basic year with 4 option years (based on performance) and will include repair and replacement of base pavements utilizing unit priced line items. The estimated contract value for the five years is not expected to exceed $25,000,000 with minimum delivery orders amounts of $2,000 and the maximum delivery order amount of $750,000. The contractor may be required to deliver, use, store and handle hazardous material. The contractor will be expect to attend a site visit with the government prior to awarding each individual delivery order. There will be ONE pre-proposal site visit held on 23 March 2004 at 10:00am.
