Description
The DHHS, HRSA, Division of Immigration Health Services (DIHS) has a requirement to provide continuous medical staff to augment DIHS resources for the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement Bureau's (ICEs), Service Processing Centers (SPCs). The ICE service processing centers are located thoughout the nation. In addition to recruiting, hiring, and maintaining an available pool of medical staff, Contractor will be required to provide contract consultant services, a range of clerical and administrative services associated with the processing of medical claims for payment, financial management and budget support, public health policy and program analysis support, and information technology (IT) services. Medical staffing services include, but are not limited to, nursing, dental, radiology, pharmacy, medical records. Consultant services include, but are not limited to, general surgery, internal medicine specialist, neurology, pathology, general dentistry, psychiatry, nuclear medicine, chemotherapy, dialysis and cardiology. Contractor will be required to hire the existing allied health care workers nationally at the SPCs and the support staff located at the DIHS Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The period of performance will be for one four-month base period plus four 12-month option periods. This requirement is set aside for competition amongst eligible organizations under the Small Business Administration's 8(a) Program. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 561320, the size standard is $11.5 million. This acquisition is subject to the Service Contract Act. Wage determinations applicable to each location will be identified in the solicitation. A pre-proposal conference is anticipated; details will be included in the solicitation. Solicitation No. 04H000019 will be made available on the Federal Business Opportunities website approximately 15 days after the publication of this notice. Only electronic copies of the solicitation will be available. No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted.
