- The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL, intends to award a sole source contract to Texas Aviation Hall of Fame (Lone Star Flight Museum), 2002 Terminal Drive, Galveston, Texas, for the following: A performance and appearance that consist of ten (10) vintage World War II aircraft: Army Air Force Aviation B-17 Flying Fortress; B-25 Mitchell; P-47 Thunderbolt; P-40 War-hawk; P-51 Mustang; and C-47 Skytrain. Naval Aviation SBD Dauntless; TBM Avenger; F6F-5 Hellcat; and F4U-5 Corsair. This requirement is sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a firm-fixed price contact. If there are any other businesses that can provide the above service, they must respond to this notice before 3:00p.m. Central Standard Time, on January 2, 2004. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source contract with Texas Aviation Hall of Fame will be pursued. The POC for this notice is Toxie H.
