PROJECT TITLE: CAMPGROUND ATTENDANT, KY-EN CAMPGROUND, LAKE MENDOCINO, SCHEDULE A LOCATION: LAKE MENDOCINO, UKIAH, CALIFORNIA JOB DESCRIPTION: The work to be performed will be for the purpose of checking in persons with reservations, registering campers, and issuing permits to those persons for a second vehicle to be parked in campsite by computer using NRRS system, accurately collecting fees and accounting for funds, remitting monies on a weekly basis. Make tours of the campground, contacting c ampers who need to register. Remove outdated camper information from camp posts in campground area. Open campground and day use are gates and post information as needed in those areas. Maintain official daily registration information in booth, report 14 -day violations, stock and maintain brochure rack and booth supplies, sweep booth, keep work area clean and empty trash. Provide information to the public, hand out available booklets to children, issue visitor passes, provide and process federal passport s to those eligible, process information for campers under the age of 18 and assist visitors as necessary. Contractors will follow the policies and procedures addressed in the Campground Attendant Handbook, which is a requirement of this contract. As a c ontractor for the Corps of Engineers you serve as a representative for Lake Mendocino. Your responsibility is limited to providing information, the collection and accounting of fees, and staffing entrance stations. You have no authority to enforce park r ules or regulations. Your role is limited to informing people of park rules at the time of campsite registration by providing copies of the park rules. Additionally, your role is to notify the ranger staff when complaints or incidents occur. This Procur ement will be conducted under FSC Code: R699 SIC Code: 7033 NAICS Code: 721211. ORDERING SOLICITATION: The solicitation for this project will be available on the Sacramento District Contracting Divisions Internet Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ for downloading. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be available for download from this web site. REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION IN ANY OTHER FORMAT THAN WHAT IS ADVERTISED WILL BE DI SREGARDED. It is important that you first go to this web site and under contract division home page, click on the advertised solicitation you are interested in. Go to plan holders registration. This will require you to establish a user name and password . Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for registering your firm on plan holders lists. With our new system you only have to do the full registration one time. If you have your user name and password, you can always go back into the system and register for other jobs without having to go through the entire registration process. However, you can only do this by using your initial user name and password. In order to receive notification of any amendments to the solicitation you are required to register for the plan holders list. Please complete all requested information. The solicitation will be available for download on 4 February 2004. From there click on SAN FRANCISCO/SACRAMENTO District, then i t will take you to list of advertised solicitations and then from there click on the desired solicitation number. And at the bottom of this page, there is a bar that says download/view solicitation files. Select plans or specs from the drop down box and press go button. This will take you to the next page, then from there click on the file name and download. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. Please note that all contractors and potential contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database, effective 31 May 1998.
