Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, Florida, is soliciting a Horticulture Vocational Instructor for the inmate population. The contractor must be a qualified teacher, certified by any State Department of Education and have at least one year of experience teaching a Horticulture Program. The resulting contract will be for a base period not to exceed six months with two one year option periods to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government. It is estimated that 256 sessions will be utilized for the base period, depending on the actual date of award. The solicitation will be available on or around February 4, 2004 with a response date of February 25, 2005. Information related to this solicitation will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site hppt:/www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies will not be distributed unless determined by the contracting officer to be in the best interest of the government. Future information concerning this solicitation, including any amendments, will be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up to date information about this solicitation. The government may make award without discussions, therefore, offerors are instructed to submit their best offer initially. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.
