Description

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced its intent to conduct a streamlined competition for its Small Business Investment Company examination activities on September 29, 2003. On December 30, 2003, SBA made the performance decision to contract out this activity, with future performance to be provided by a private-sector firm. This competition involves 22.5 Full Time-Equivalent federal positions. SBA will initiate an acquisition for these services in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations, and future information about this acquisition will be published in Fedbizopps as soon as it is available. No further information is available at this time. The Streamlined Competition Form supporting this decision is available upon request under the Freedom of Information Act.
