- Description
- A Standing Quotation Agreement for FSC 7350, one National Stock Number (NSN) for disposable mess trays will issue on 1-29-04. The contract period will be for four months from date of award. 1. 7350-01-389-3518 TRAY, MESS, DISPOSABLE: Shall have the following characteristics: Disposable food container; for carrying foam clamshell trays; Width - 9-3/4 inches, Depth - 7 inches, Height - 6 inches Auto-bottom, tuck top with two 4" inside side flaps Material - 24 point clay coat newsback Box Color - White, printed with two color (red and white) US Air Force Food Services logo (may change often) on the outside of the lid. Blocked out area within logo area to facilitate written material. A camera-ready copy of the logo shall be furnished to the contractor upon award. Packed quantity - 200/box Unit of Issue - BX (box of 200 boxes) PRODUCT CONFORMANCE. The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this description, conform to the producer's own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial market. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY. The item(s) shall be packaged and packed to afford adequate protection against physical damage during shipment from the supplier to the first physical damage during shipment from the supplier to the first receiving activity. The pack shall comply with the rules and regulations applicable to the mode of transportation. The package shall be the same as that normally provided by the supplier. In the event a pallet or skid is used for shipping, the following notice shall apply: NOTICE: Due to the spread of oak wilt disease, all lumber Used inside or outside a shipment must be BARK FREE. MARKING: Shipments to GSA and other civilian agencies shall be marked in accordance with FED-STD-123. Shipments to the Department of Defense (DoD) shall be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129. NOTICE OF SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SHIPMENT TO EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES: Per Clause D-FSS-468, non-manufactured wood pallets and other non-manufactured wood package material used in shipments destined for ultimate delivery to or through a European Union (EU) country shall comply with the Emergency Measures (2001/219/EC) adopted by the Commission of the European Communities (CEC). Additionally, shipments delivered to DoD distribution facilities or freight consolidation points for eventual delivery to or through EU countries shall comply with DLA PROCLTR 02-17.
