- Description
- 17. Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Firm Fixed Priced Delivery Order to the Joint Venture (JV) of ITT Industries/Northrop Grumman in Clifton, NJ to procure materials and determine repairs of the AN/ALQ-165(V). JV will examine the United States Navy WRAs and SRAs and determine repair requirements and repair cost estimates. Materials needed to repair or replace damaged components are to be procured in anticipation of actual need, especially long-lead items. The intent is to return the WRAs to the fleet in a serviceable, not new condition. JV is the designer, developer and sole producer of the AN/ALQ-165(V) ASPJ system and the only firm possessing the requisite technical knowledge and expertise, facilities, tooling and special test equipment necessary to repair all components in a timely manner.
