Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 6, Denver, Colorado, is requesting proposals from experienced qualified contractors to provide all labor, material, and equipment to furnish , transport, assemble, erect and secure on a preconstructed basement foundation an approximately 1,531 square feet prefabricated, handicap accessible three (3) bedroom, two (2) bath UPC specification modular home. In addition to and as an alternate to the prefabricated structure, offerors may site build/construct a residence structure in accodance with the requirements stated earlier in this annoucement. Project work includes, but not limited to, construct a cast in place concrete or masonry foundation to support the modular residence, construct wood porch and ramp for handicap accessibility, make final utiliy connections. The project is located at the J Clark Salyer National Wildlife Refuge, 681 Salyer Road, Upham, Bottineau and McHenry Counties, North Dakota. Performance period is seventy five (75) calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on February 17, 2004 with a closing date of on March 17, 2004. This acquisition is issued under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonsration Program and is open to both large and small business concerns under NAICS Code 236115. The solicitation will be available through the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE) (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). Please note that drawings and specifications will also be posted with the solicitation as .pdf files and will be available for download from the GPE. Parties that are unable to access the GPE, shall fax a request for the solicitation to 303-236-4791, Attention: Ray Tomori. Effective October 1, 2003, all contractors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website as an active vendor in order to be eligible for an award.
