- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION AUDIO AND VIDEO COMPONENTS FOR A LARGE AND SMALL CONFERENCE ROOMS. 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 2. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted) on RFQ reference number F1SFGT40210200 3. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-19. 4. This procurement is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 443112 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. 5. This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the following commercial item: CLIN 0001-Audio and Video components for a large conference room. Requirements: Install a 50 inch or larger plasma video monitor on the wall at the front of the room. No cabling will be visible. Source selection shall be made via handheld remote control. Sources shall include DVD, (2) RGB, (2) A/V VCR. All audio and video electronics will be installed in a professional rolling rack, welded steel, black wrinkle finish, with locking doors. A custom input panel will enable portable sources to plug into the system at the front of the rack. The rack will have a slide-out shelf for a PC or other outboard equipment, and a locking drawer for storage of accessories such as remote controls, DVDs, tapes, etc. Audio volume control will be done at the rack. Speakers and subwoofers shall be distributed throughout the ceiling for even dynamic sound. All installation labor, cable, connectors, and hardware shall be included. CLIN 0002-Audio and Video components for a small conference room. Requirements will install a 37 inch LCD monitor, requires two speakers, and less amplifier power. No cabling will be visible. Source selection shall be made via handheld remote control. Sources shall include DVD, (2) RGB, (2) A/V VCR. All audio and video electronics will be installed in a professional rolling rack, welded steel, black wrinkle finish, with locking doors. A custom input panel will enable portable sources to plug into the system at the front of the rack. The rack will have a slide-out shelf for a PC or other outboard equipment, and a locking drawer for storage of accessories such as remote controls, DVDs, tapes, etc. Audio volume control will be done at the rack. Speakers and subwoofers shall be distributed throughout the ceiling for even dynamic sound. All installation labor, cable, connectors, and hardware shall be included. Contractor shall provide for both CLINs a one year system warranty in addition to servicing all manufacturer?s warranties, and complete training and system documentation. 6. Delivery and installation requested 21 days after receipt of purchase order. FOB Destination Building 500, Room 12 Basement, 21 77th Street North, Malmstrom Air Force Base Montana 59402-7538. 7. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items. 8. The Government will issue a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible party providing a quote, whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. 9. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items, the party providing a quote must include a completed copy of this provision with its quote.
