Description
NA PR Number(s): FD20200461841 Item: 0001 Description: Sustaining Engineering Services for the AN/TPS-75 Radar System. Sustaining engineering support tasks include investigating, analyzing, assessing, testing, verifying, validating, designing, developing engineering models, and integrating hardware and software solutions. Task order contract with a basic ordering period of three years and an option for two years. Estimated value is $13M. Interested sources must provide pre-contract award qualification information to verify required technical knowledge, facilities, test equipment, engineering drawings, and labor to provide sustaining engineering support for the AN/TPS-75 Radar, part number 612J390G01. Offerors shall notify the contracting officer of intent to qualify as a source and to obtain Source Qualification Requirements. Maximum time for approval of qualification will not exceed 15 calendar days. Resulting award will not be delayed in order to provide an offeror an opportunity to meet the requirements for qualification. Qualified Sources: Raytheon Technical Services Company, Long Beach, CA; ITT Industries Inc. ITT Gilfillan, Van Nuys, CA; Georgia Tech Applied Research Corporation, Atlanta, GA.; Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Linthicum Heights, MD. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
