- The below replaces the synopsis posted Jan 22, 2004.<br><br> The USAF Tactical Air Control Party-Modernization (TACP-M) Program Office of the Electronics Systems Center (ESC/NI-3G) is seeking sources for the maintenance and sustainment support of its 475 Northrop-Grumman Laser Systems Mark VII Laser Range Finders (LRFs), which has been DD 250 to the Government. The maintenance and sustainment services will encompass, at a minimum, the following: 1) maintenance, repair and sustainment of the existing Mark VII LRFs; 2) monthly documentation outlining all maintenance actions accomplished on each LRF; 3) availability of four (4) Mark VII LRF "whole unit" spares, part number MFT10000-19, to backfill LRFs returned from the combat units; and 4) availability of spare parts needed to ensure repair and return of Mark VII LRFs to combat units within thirty (30) days. The Mark VII LRF "whole unit" spares and spare parts can be purchased from Northrop-Grumman Laser Systems. <br><br> The Government requests that interested offerors submit a response of not more than ten (10) one-sided pages, Courier type, 10 pitch with a minimum of one (1) inch margins. The response shall include the following: 1) your firm's past performance accomplishing military laser optics manufacturing and/or repair, 2) your ability to repair, calibrate, and/or realign the Mark VII LRF prior to return, and 3) your firm's understanding of military laser optics technology. Please submit responses via e-mail to Diane.Oneil@hanscom.af.mil not later than 2:00 PM EST, 12 February 2004.
