Description

U. S. Army Field Support Command(AFSC) intends to issue a Request for Quote(RFQ), W52P1J-04-Q-3004 for the acquisition of services including all labor, equipment, transportation and incidentals for Janitorial services of identified existing buildings at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAAP), McAlester Ok. The buildings consist of offices, restrooms, showers, lobbies, reception halls, break areas, stairways and entrances. Services will be described in the Scope of work (dated 4 Nov 03) and sha ll include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming and steam cleaning of floors and carpets; cleaning of walls, glass panels, transoms, doors, hardware, plumbing fixtures, mirrors and shelves; servicing rest rooms; cleaning lunchroom tab les; and performing other miscellaneous services. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract for a 1-year base period, with four 1-year option periods. Option periods will be evaluated. This contract will be restricted to 8A firms only. The Government intends to hold a pre-bid conference/ site visit with prospective offerors at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. This conference will take place approximately 2 weeks after the RFP has been posted to the web and prior to the specified closing date. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http: //www.ccr.gov. The RFQ will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http://acquisition,army.mil on or about Feb 18, 2003. Interested firms are invited to submit quotes after this solicitation is posted to the we b. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuancae and any changes to the solicitation. No hard copies are available.
