Description
SP0100-04-Q-4049 will be used for Cape, Aircrewman?s Chemical Protective Disposable; this Cape is 23 inch wide by 74 inch long. The Cape shall be fabricated from virgin low Density Polyethylene Film 40 Inch wide lay flat tubing conformed to Type 1, Class 1, Grade A, finish 1, low slip. Specification L-P-378 is cancelled and replaced by A-A-3174. This announcement is published as a Total Small Business set-aside action per FAR 52.219-1 and 52.219-6, this means you must be a small business quoting the product of a small business manufacturer; all eligible, responsible sources may submit an offer. This contract is a one time small purchase for 100,000 each with equal shipments to Defense Supply Depot Tracy, CA and Defense Supply Depot Albany, GA. Six deliveries are required beginning 90 days after date of award and every thirty days thereafter. Only offers with FOB Destination will be considered. All materials are to be contractor furnished. Offeror must submit 5 Product Samples on perforated roll. Samples shall be put-up in perforated strip forms of 5 samples on roll and must send to Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, for visual and dimensional examination. Any deviation to requirement must be stated in your proposal. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/home AFTER February 9, 2004. From the Gateway home page, select ?Search RFQs? from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. Amendments to this solicitation WILL NOT be available via the Gateway. In order to receive notification of amendments to this solicitation you must E-MAIL the Contract Specialist, listed below under Point of Contact, with the name and address of prospective offeror, phone and fax number and a point of contact. Please reference solicitation number in all e-mail correspondence. An unsuccessful offer may result if prospective offeror FAILS to e-mail the Contract Specialist of their intent to offer on this solicitation. In addition, you can enter DSCP C&T FSCs and NSNs to receive notification of RFQs. The Gateway will send all registered users an e-mail notification of RFQ solicitations based on your FSC and NSN profile. The NSN notification will contain a link that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet. Generally, Clothing and Textile items as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012 and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
