Description

The Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W) on behalf of the DoD Defense Acquisition Regulation Office System (DARS) is releasing the final Request for Proposal (RFP) entitled: DFARS Transformation Integrated System (DTIS). This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside under NAIC code 541511 with dollar threshold of $21 million. See Note 1. This procurement is in reference to the solicitation number W74V8H-04-R-0001 (11/19/03) and the Request for Information Solicitation Number DASW01-02-R-0010 (12/10/02). DCC-W has determined the need to obtain a new end-to-end, integrated system to manage t he DoD acquisition rulemaking progress. The DARS Office anticipates that this new system will provide an improvement to the acquisition rulemaking process and also further DoD DARS offices implementation of key provisions in the President??????s Managemen t Agenda, eGov requirements, and other regulatory mandates. DCC-W Office is posting a copy of the RFP W74V8H-04-R-0022 for the DTIS on the Internet web site at http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/services/RFP1.asp to provide the public an opportunity to submit proposals. The deadline for receipt of proposals is March 5, 2004. Referencing the Statement of Objectives: Section 1.2, Number 4 of the RFP the current DARS business process model will be posted on DCC-W Homepage as a separate document
