The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about January 29, 2004. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Description: This project is not set-aside. Janitorial Services, Mammoth Cave National Park, Mammoth Cave, Kentucky 42259, (Edmonson County). Solicitation Number I5530040019. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price service contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. Work includes, but is not limited to the custodial maintenance of various buildings, the Visitor Center Campground, and the Visitor Center Picnic Area. The Contractor shall provide all of the custodial services as described herein. With the exception of light bulbs, the Contractor must furnish all of the labor, equipment and materials necessary to accomplish the work described in the contract documents. Mammoth Cave National Park is located approximately halfway between Nashville, Tennessee and Louisville, Kentucky near interstate 65 in Edmonson County, Kentucky. The NAICS Code for this project is 561720 and the small business size standard is $14.0 million. Contract duration is 1 year, with 4 option years possible. This procurement is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 14, Sealed Bids. A Pre-Bid Conference will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced on the specifications cover page. Bids will be due 30 calendar days following the issuance of the solicitation.
