- The U.S. Army Engineering & Support Center (CEHNC), Huntsville, intends to make a sole-source fixed price award to International Services Associates, LTD., 3322 S. Memorial Parkway, Suite 531, Huntsville, AL 35801 to provide ISO 9000:2000 training su pport. This intent to make a sole source award is pursuant to FAR part 6.302-1 and is NOT a request for proposals. This procurement is a small business set-aside and the proposed contract type is firm-fixed price. Period of performance will begin on or about January 26, 2004 through June 30, 2004. The support contractor will provide a training plan and training to key personnel in order to prepare CEHNC to become ISO certified. The contractor must be experienced in the ISO 9000:2000 registration proces s and familiar with the CEHNC PMBP and manual. The contractor will have to be able to provide ISO 9000:2000 implementation training and be able to train a cadre of CEHNC employees so that they can train others in how to implement ISO 9000:2000 in CEHNC. B usinesses that can provide the required services are invited to submit in writing, within 10 calendar days, an affirmative response, which includes as a minimum, the proposed credentials, qualifications, past experience, and any additional information indi cating a bona fide ability to meet this specific requirement. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database and provide their business size. Information on CCR can be obtained from www.ccr.gov. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 541618 and the business size is $6.0M. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Telephone requests are not acceptable.
